Christopher Jackson, PsyD-ABD - Director of Veteran Affairs / Career Coach

Christopher Jackson holds a master's degree in conflict resolution (MA in conflict management and mediation) as well as completing his Doctor of Psychology in Conflict Psychology (PsyD-ABD). He serves as a full-time clinician at the Recovery Research Network Foundation where he is a primary therapist to those mandated to treatment by Florida's Mental Health Court system. 

He facilitates groups, engages in one-on-one sessions, and assists those with trauma histories and substance use disorders as they learn the life skills necessary to live productive and fulfilling lives. Christopher is an accomplished speaker, trainer, and practitioner in Verbal De-escalation. 

He first learned to calm those in crisis as a law enforcement officer. He has served as a Community Mediator and a Mental Health Counselor. Christopher designs trainings in Verbal De-escalation for law enforcement agencies and healthcare workers and facilitates conflict dialogues for universities and other organizations.

Christopher is a veteran of both the active duty Air Force and the U.S. Army Reserves. His experience includes providing treatment for veterans suffering from PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Depression. He is passionate about the underlying psychological principle of rapport building that is necessary for a therapist to help those entrusted to their care. Christopher enjoys everything that living in South Florida has to offer. When not working he loves the sunny beaches and the many sports venues. He is an avid reader and fitness enthusiast and even travels when time permits.
